CARE & MAINTENANCES

Outdoor Furniture Maintenance Instructions

Although our materials are specially designed and rigorously tested in general outdoor environments, please note that over time, they may still be damaged due to extreme weather or improper use. However, by following the maintenance and care steps below, you can enjoy more wonderful and stylish outdoor leisure time with peace of mind.

Regular maintenance

High-quality outdoor furniture deserves special attention. With proper maintenance, Bosch furniture can last for many years. Clean the furniture with a solution of neutral detergent and water, rinse with clean water, and dry thoroughly. Apply a fine layer of clear automotive wax on all metal frames to minimize harmful UV radiation and salt spray.

For optimal protection, perform maintenance two to three times a year in low-pollution areas, or more frequently in high-pollution areas. Please note that these durable materials can be regularly cleaned safely as needed.

How to maintain cedar wood furniture

Use heat-resistant mats under high-temperature items (such as pots, pans, plates, baking trays, etc.) to avoid damaging surfaces.
Place coasters under any glass items to prevent refracted sunlight from concentrating heat.
Place cold drinks on coasters to prevent dripping and avoid moisture sounds.
Avoid placing sharp objects directly on furniture surfaces to prevent scratches.
Regularly check bolts, screws, hinges, and other working parts for rust or looseness.
Tilt furniture to the side to drain water and help speed up drying.
Cover items when not in use, or store them indoors to protect them.

How to clean cedar wood furniture

Light cleaning: Use a cloth dampened with water or a neutral soap solution to wipe away dust and debris.
Deep cleaning: Scrub with a soft brush and a mixture of water and dishwasher detergent (recommended to perform deep cleaning at the beginning or end of each season).
Oil stains: Use a non-abrasive cleaner immediately, such as dishwasher detergent, to avoid long-term stains.
Suspended items: Use a soft brush with a mixture of dishwasher detergent and water to remove dirt from suspended items.
Surface repair: To repair minor surface damage (such as scratches and small dents), use a scrubbing pad and gently wipe along the grain.

How to clean mesh fabric

Use a sponge dipped in cleaner (mix one cup of neutral cleaner with one cup of household bleach in three gallons of water) to wipe.
When wiping the mesh cloth repeatedly, use a circular motion with your hand, do not wipe back and forth in a straight line.
After wiping, wait for about 1 minute.
Then use a wet sponge to remove dirt or rinse with clean water.
If there is still dirt remaining, please repeat the above steps.
After rinsing clean, dry with a dry cloth.

How to clean and maintain rock slabs and marble countertops

BOSCHER furniture with rock slabs and marble tabletops is designed for normal use in residential outdoor environments. To maintain its natural beauty, we recommend using a stone-enhancing sealer every six months to protect and restore the tabletop. Maintenance can be done before the arrival of winter each year.

If the tabletop is stained with red wine, soda, coffee, or other organic colorants, please clean these spills immediately with a neutral cleaner and then rinse with water.

In extremely cold climates, it is recommended to store the tabletop in a dry indoor area or cover it with a suitable outdoor furniture cover. Also, ensure there is space between the tabletop and the cover to prevent moisture buildup on the tabletop and to promote airflow, allowing moisture to escape.
